With over 4,000 submissions, the John Ruskin Prize showcased 68 shortlisted artworks in a free exhibition at Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London, running until February 17, 2024.
At a Private Viewing on January 31st, ADF Trustee Jane Craik was pleased to announce the winner of the Under 26 category. Blythe Plenderleith received the award for her captivating art installation titled “Bed of Hails.”
Congratulations to all participating artists and the deserving winners. The judges were so impressed with the exceptional quality of the artworks that they decided not to select a runner-up, opting instead to award two first prizes. They commended the diverse range of media and subject matters explored, showcasing talents from both emerging and established artists.
