About the event
As part of the London Festival of Architecture 2022, The Davidson Prize will be presenting an awards ceremony and drinks reception hosted at Pearson Lloyd’s Yorkton Workshops in Hackney to celebrate the longlisted, finalist and winning teams.
The awards ceremony will be followed by a free exhibition in the same venue showcasing the longlisted entries, the exhibition will run from Wednesday 15 June to Sunday 19 June, and will be open from 10am to 6pm.
This year’s submissions responded to the theme of ‘Co-Living: A New Future?’, proposing new ideas for how co-living could be a solution to the way we think about our homes as well as our communities in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event is free to attend, however donations to the Alan Davidson Foundation will be welcomed. The Foundation looks to support a wide range of causes linked to MND research, care and initiatives that benefit those with disabling neurological conditions.
About London Festival of Architecture
The London Festival of Architecture is a month long celebration of architecture and city-making, taking place every June across London. The Festival’s mission is to open up discussions around architecture, test new ideas and uncover and promote new talent. The theme for the LFA 2022 LFA is ‘act’. Through the festival we’ll examine how we can act for ourselves, each other, our cities and the environment.
