Committed Funding

We have committed over £7m in funding to MND research, and architectural initiatives since 2015

The Alan Davidson Foundation is dedicated to eradicating Motor Neurone Disease (MND) through strategic, long-term funding initiatives. Beyond its commitment to MND, the Foundation is also passionate about supporting architectural and arts initiatives that drive innovation, accessibility, and positive change. By remaining true to its roots, the Foundation fosters creative solutions in both healthcare and the built environment, aiming to improve lives and shape a more inclusive, forward-thinking future.

About this project >

Alan was known for his creativity, fairness, and love of life. His own experience of living with MND only deepened his passion for supporting others. Since the Foundation was established, we’ve committed over £7 million to projects that reflect those values: pioneering MND research and care, and initiatives in architecture and the visual arts that promote inclusion, curiosity, and social impact. Every grant we make is rooted in Alan’s legacy and belief in the power of thoughtful, creative solutions to improve lives."
