MND and Neurology
The Foundation is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that advance the understanding, care, and treatment of Motor Neurone Disease. At the heart of this mission is a determination to help eradicate MND entirely. This commitment is rooted in the personal experience of its founder, Alan Davidson, who was diagnosed with MND in 2012 and dedicated his legacy to improving outcomes for those affected by the disease.
The Alan Davidson Foundation champions architecture and the arts as vital forces for creativity, wellbeing, and social impact. This commitment reflects the values and passions of its founder, Alan Davidson, who trained as an architect and whose creative vision helped redefine how we visualise the built environment.
