Marie Chamillard, the Foundation Director, joined Trustee Colin Reid at the annual reception held at King’s College London to celebrate their students success and the achievements of the university’s academic community.
During the evening, guests heard inspiring stories from two alumni who shared their journeys since graduating and reflected on the paths that have led them to impressive and impactful careers. Their experiences offered a powerful reminder of the opportunities that education and research can create.
The reception was also an opportunity to meet Professor Shitij Kapur, Vice-Chancellor and President of King’s College London, and to catch up with Maggy Liu, Senior Philanthropy Manager, who has worked closely with the Foundation for a number of years.
Most importantly, the evening provided a chance to meet PhD student Leon Crowley, whose research is supported by the Foundation, and to congratulate him on the publication of his recent papers. It was a pleasure to hear about his progress and the exciting developments in his work.
